Lifestyle :: The Hottest New Real Estate Amenity: Extreme Sports

American Sports Data's sports marketing research over the past fifteen years has shown that an increase in sports participation trend is clearly correlated with consumer purchases. No where is this more evident than in real estate, where taking sports facilities and experiences to the extreme is the newest, hottest amenity.

Take The Laurel condos in Manhattan. If residents aren't in shape when they bought their apartments, they will have no excuse after they move in. The gym's state-of-the-art triathlon training center means to turn residents into enthusiasts, with three pools, top-shelf biking equipment, and a running circuit made specifically for aspiring Ironmen.

Destination resort and residential community, Liberty Cove, in Mexico retained Davy Jones, internationally known race car driver, to design a number of racing facilities, including a track capable of featuring both open-wheel and NASCAR style racing.

Moreover, earlier this year The David Beckham World of Sport was unveiled at Cabo Sao Roque, Brazil's newest luxury lifestyle destination resort. It's a world-class athlete training center, designed and planned with Beckham's full co-operation, and will include eight soccer fields, with the ability to accommodate resort guests and visiting teams alike. Also available at the resort comes the Rubens Barrichello Driving Experience, which is designed for automotive enthusiasts of all ages, where for families and children can test their track driving skills.

Fasten your seatbelts, visitors are in for a thrilling ride. What sports would you choose?
